Why all the questions, you may ask. The answer is that many factors influence price and performance. Examples:

Roll width can vary between 450mm and 500mm. Only 50mm difference, but that equates to 10% less film on the roll.

Cast film is clear and low noise, whilst blown film is usually less clear and noisy.

Cast film comes in many layers between 2 – 9. Number and type of layers can be determine strength, tack, elongation, puncture resistance, clarity, etc.

Roll weight will differ, even if all other parameters remain the same – due to the type of film used; elonogation quotient; number of layers, etc.

You can buy pre-stretched; ultra thin; low metre rolls – but how beneficial are they?
