The Equipment Inspector
This service acts as an insurance against accidents associated with lifters and small stackers.
King will send the Equipment Inspector to your premises, where he or she will firstly clean the equipment thoroughly, then determine if there are any faults which require your attention.
A quality control sticker is placed onto the approved equipment if everything is satisfactory, or a report on necessary repairs is given to the company. King can complete the repairs, then sticker the equipment.
Waiting for an accident to happen due to uninspected and faulty equipment is asking for trouble. The Equipment Inspector calls every three months under a two-year contract basis.
With this service in place, WorkCover will have no reason to serve you with a default notice.
One large company with 180 pieces of equipment has found 10% of their equipment to be faulty. The Equipment Inspector has taken away their need to monitor the health, wellbeing and safety of their operators, especially after experiencing a claim caused by unexamined equipment before we were called in.
